South of the town is Cape Kamenjak – a protected landscape 9.5 km long, 1.5 km wide, with altogether 30 km of indented coastline. No place in the world is the sea so blue-green, so clean as here at the southernmost tip of Istria.

Beaches on Cape Kamenjak - Premantura

On the southest part of the Istrian peninsula is located a cape Kamenjak, a protected park which hides many natural beauties. The coast spreads approx. 30 kilometers and hides many bays, islets and beaches.
Clean sea and an untouched nature attract many tourist which seek for peace. There are few sandy beaches which are ideal for families with kids, but the coast is mostly rocky.
Kamenjak is a well know diving destination because of its rich underwater world. On the southern part are strong currents so swimmers should be careful, but conditions are perfect for surfers. On the south-western part of the cape is located a Safari bar where you can have a refreshing drink or a light meal.

Munte Beach - Premantura

The beach Munte is placed in Premantura and it is one of rare beaches adapted for blind people. To the beach you can get through the pine wood to the stairs with a protective fence. The beach includes a rocky part of the coast, arranged part for sunbathing, and the access to the sea has steps that dived into the sea, and are protected by a fence. On the southeastern side you can find a beautiful pebbly beach. The beach Munte is completely arranged and adjusted for people with disabilities which can carelessly enjoy in the sun and clean sea.

Beach Stupice - Premantura

On the top of the Istrian peninsula is located Premantura, surrounded with a blue sea and small islets. Because of its exposure to strong winds, it is an ideal place for water sports. On the green peninsula is located a famous camp Stupice with a beautiful pebbly beach. The beach is partly rocky as well as the coast of the peninsula. There is a bar on it, and as a part of a camp Stupice is a restaurant and many other extra facilities. Here you can rent surfing boards, bicycles and boats, and on many playgrounds you can play tennis and volleyball.
The beach Stupice is a great choice for a vacation in a natural surrounding especially for lovers of an active holiday.

Beach Runke - Premantura

A pleasant walk through the dense pinewoods near the small fishing town Premantura takes you to your own piece of heaven – camp and beach Runke, situated on a peninsula. There is a rocky beach with many coves where you can find your own private beach and a large pebbly beach.
